How To Control Component Visibility

Note: This feature is not available in the Standard or Order Flow Editions

Visibility is a very useful feature in MotiveWave^® that enables you to specify the bar sizes where a component is visible. This can be very useful to avoid clutter when switching bar sizes on a chart.

In the screenshot below, the initial visibility setting for the line component is set to All Intervals allowing it to show on all open charts of that particular symbol.

The Visibility setting can be set from the Properties dialog or via the right click menu on the component.

With the visibility setting now set to 1 hour only, the line component only shows on the 1 hour chart.
